"There is a masjid whose foundation was laid from the first day on piety; it is more worthy of the standing forth (for prayer) therein. In it are men who love to be purified; and Allah loveth those who make themselves pure" (9:108).
The condition of founding a Masjid on righteousness from the first day relies on its vision and mission. This vision and mission needs to target the establishment of a system that attracts and welcomes those who want to be purified, those who are seeking to be “guided guides” in the way of the Prophet (pbuh).
In working toward the fulfillment of this high objective, we are starting this great endeavor with an introductory seminar for our community. The goals of this gathering are to:
- Lay out the vision and mission of Al-Amaan Center
- Present the overall structure of activities
- Make signing up easy for any potential dedicated volunteer willing to be actively involved in the Center activities (da'wa, education, volunteering, etc).
- Garner community suggestions for increased collaboration.
We invite everyone to learn and teach, convey and share the beauty of the message of Islam. InshaaAllah, we'll have sign-up booths representing various activities, and we look forward to your participation.
May Allah guide us all to be as those described in the following ayah:
"The mosques of Allah shall be visited and maintained by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day, establish regular prayers, practice regular charity, and fear none (at all) except Allah. It is they who are expected to be on true guidance" (9:18).
