** Youth Taqwa Development Program ** "Earth From Space" - Documentary & Discussion 4/22/17 at 7:00 pm with Sh. Jamel Ben Ameur
Assalaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakatuhu, SubhanAllah, in our daily routines, we've come to expect the ground to support us as we move about, the sky to hover safely above us, and provision to be available at every turn. Allah (swt) says, "Verily, all things have We created in proportion and measure” (54:49) and "We will show them Our Signs in the horizons and within themselves until it becomes manifest to them that this (the Qur'an) is the truth. Is it not sufficient in regard to your Lord that He is a Witness over all things?” (41:53).
Join us in our 3rd floor media room as we watch and discuss "Earth from space", an eye-opening documentary that will help us discover the Earth as a dynamic living organism and learn how unseen forces interconnect to sustain life on our planet.
We will also have a separate program for our younger youth on the 2nd floor who may find the content of the documentary too difficult to understand. Some of our Tawqa Development Program coordinators will take the children to another room and have a fun filled and educational session with them.
