Friendships: The Good, the Bad, & the Ugly

Al-Amaan Center’s next Youth Growth & Guidance event is right around the corner.

Friendships shape who we are, they can lift us, challenge us, or sometimes lead us astray. Join us for an engaging and reflective session exploring what makes a friendship meaningful, how to navigate difficult relationships, and how to build bonds that strengthen faith and character.

Our friendships deeply impact our Akhira. The Quran reminds us of the Day when the wrongdoer will say in regret, “I wish I had not taken so-and-so as a friend” (Surah Al-Furqan 25:28). The Prophet pbuh taught us that a person follows the faith of their close friend, so each of us must carefully choose companions who remind us of Allah swt and guide us toward Jannah.

Let’s come together to reflect on what true companionship looks like, in this world and the next, and learn how to surround ourselves with those who elevate our souls and help us walk the path of our beloved Messenger pbuh.
