Plan to fast in this great day. The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said, “Fasting on the day of Arafa is an expiation for two years, the year preceding it and the year following it. Fasting the day of Ashura is an expiation for the year preceding it.”

2 Rakaat: in each rakaa, recitation of Al Fatiha and one Surah.
First Rakaa: say 7 Takbeerat before recitation of Al Fatiha.
Second Rakaa: 5 Takbeerat before recitation
Then listen to the Eid Khutba with Sh Jamel Ben Ameur PhD
