Ramadan Announcement


Ramadan Mubarak! Praise be to Allah and peace and blessings upon the Prophet (pbuh) We just got the news a little while ago, that the crescent moon was sighted in California, three witnesses have seen it among them Dr Ahmed Salam a professor of Astronomy and Sheikh Mohamed Al Fakih Imam of Masjid Orange County. In the same time news has been reported that the crescent moon was also sighted in Mali and Cote d’ivoire. Based on these news the first day of Ramadan is Wednesday May 16th 2018. The IJCM rectifies its earlier announcement to confirm that the 1st day of Ramadan is Wednesday May 16th 2018. Also the AMJA (The Assembly of Muslim Jurist of America) based in Houston Texas, has announced that the first day of Ramadan is Wednesday May 16th 2018. And with Allah (swt) AtTawfeeq
